Wed 27 May 2026
Our Acoustic Sessions is back this month with another iconic headliner.
This time we have Tom Hingley best known as the Ex lead singer with Manchester’s finest Inspiral Carpets , he sang on all the bands hits and was present at the height of their success including ‘This is How it Feels’, ‘Saturn Five’,
‘Dragging Me Down’, ‘Joe’, ‘Move’, ‘Weakness’, ‘I Want You’ , ‘Caravan’, ‘Beast Inside’ & ‘She Comes in the Fall’.
Tom parted with the Inspiral Carpets in 2011 and has been forging a successful solo career both as an accomplished singer songwriter releasing ‘Keep Britain Untidy’ (2001) and ‘Grand Mal’ (2024). Lenny Kravitz once said Tom ‘should be singing on Broadway’ at the filming of the TV the Beat in 1991
Hosted by acclaimed singer-songwriter Ben Drummond, this monthly showcase celebrates Birmingham’s vibrant music scene, spotlighting four of the city’s finest unsigned artists performing acoustic versions of popular tracks and original material.
This is your chance to support emerging local talent and enjoy an intimate performance from another one of the UK’s most iconic artists — all in one unforgettable evening.
