The first night of the regular event “Trapped in the ’80s” features the DJ legend Pat Sharp spinning the tunes and Birmingham superstars Musical Youth live on stage!

MUSICAL YOUTH released “Pass the Dutchie” in October 1982 which stormed the charts around the world, reaching Top 10 in the US Billboard Charts and No 1 in the UK, Ireland, Australia, & Canada with over 4 million worldwide sales. Chart success followed with “Youth of Today“, “Never Gonna Give You Up“, and “Unconditional Love“, and the band continues to tour at home and overseas, fronted by the original band member, Dennis Seaton.

PAT SHARP, well know radio DJ & television presenter, has been a feature of the UK’s cultural life since the early eighties, working with the likes of Radio 1, Top of the Pops, Heart fM, and Smooth fM, and the long-running ITV show “Fun House”.  Alongside Mick Brown, Pat & Mick released several charity singles in the late ‘eighties, hitting Top 20 with “Let’s All Chant” and “I Haven’t Stopped Dancing Yet“.;

The evening is presented by DJ Pete Sherriff and promises to be a most memorable evening.
