The recent reincarnation of Birmingham’s own Mockingjays is a joy to behold!
Singer Songwriter, Ben Drummond has joined forces with local guitar hero, Thomas Atlas, to develop the band, his long-term pet performance project.
Drummer Jack Bowles, drives the pace of this trio to produce a multitude of tracks – both classic and contemporary – coming together for a “good time” but mature show – one with a breadth of material and a depth of musicality – all played totally live!
Tonight, keyboard-player, Danny Bathurst, joins the band to make the evening “extra” special.
DJ Pete Sherriff is compère for the night, playing a mix of tracks and videos, old & new, then introducing the live music performances from 9pm with the resident boogie-woogie piano support followed by main performance.
