New Yorker Melba Moore, hit the UK Charts in 1976 with the dance floor anthem “This Is It”, and followed up with such classics as “You Stepped Into My Life”, “Pick Me Up, I’ll Dance”, and of course, “Love’s Comin’ at Ya”.
Melba has continued to perform and record over thirty studio albums, as well as follow her career in film & theatre – most significantly her role in “Les Miserables” on Broadway. Melba’s single, “So In Love”, spent 3 weeks atop The UK Soul Top 30 Chart in November 2021 and her follow-up single, “Tear Her Picture Down” topped the same chart in May this year.
This is the first time Melba Moore has performed at the Jam House and tonight’s show is the replacement to the COVID cancellation from January 2022. Tickets from the earlier show are VALID for this show – this is a MUST SEE event.
