Dave Bristow is a pianist and composer from Birmingham. Currently based in Paris, he is fast emerging as one of the most original and talented jazz musicians in Europe.
His main project is the Dave Bristow Quintet – a multinational supergroup – for which he writes all the compositions.
His brand new album ‘Sides’ released on October 10th 2025 to widespread critical acclaim. A double-sided magnum opus, around 45 minutes in length it features the talents of Christian Altehülshorst, Félix Hardouin, Gabriel Pierre, Guillaume Prévost, and guest appearances from legendary American guitarist Mike Stern, singers Caloé and Katrin-Merili Poom and Parisian guitarist Gustave Reichert, this forward-thinking oeuvre aims to leave its own unique indelible imprint on the European and international jazz scenes alike.
