If you were alive to the British Funk scene in the late ‘seventies / early ‘eighties, you will remember fondly the sound track to those Summers from the likes of Light of the World, Beggar & Co, Hi Tension, Central Line, and Incognito.
“Always There”, “British Hustle”, “Somebody Help Me Out”, “Hi Tension”, “Mule Chant Number 2”, “I’m So Happy”, and so many more.
The Brit-Funk Association is a 10-piece collective of top musicians from those bands that “funked up” the charts back in the day, including at its core, Kenny Wellington (Beggar & Co), Paul & Patrick McLean (Hi Tension), Breeze McKrieth (Light of the World) and Peter Hinds (Incognito).
This is a “must see” band for the funky.
