an evening of … BOB MARLEY
Sun 05 April 2026
In memory of one of the most iconic musicians of all time, the Jam House is presenting a special Easter Sunday celebration of Robert Nesta Marley with DJ’s and a live performance from the Gabbidon Band, under the musical direction of Basil Gabbidon.
Rare archive films will be shown along with DJ’s playing Bob Marley and Wailers tunes alongside the best of those that were influenced by him.
The Gabbidon Band will be performing live playing hits and fan favourites such as “Is This Love?”, “Exodus”, “Three Little Birds”, “No Woman No Cry”, “Jamming”, “Could You Be Loved?”, “Redemption Song”, “Waiting in Vain”, “One Love”, “Natural Mystic”, and many more.
Basil Gabbidon, one of the founders of Steel Pulse, toured alongside Bob Marley and the Wailers on a European tour in 1978. Bob Marley, who was a major influence on Steel Pulse, even dubbed them “the young Wailers”.
Join us tonight as we celebrate the songs, the passion, and the enduring legacy of “The King of Reggae” and remember no work tomorrow!
